1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service govern all locksmith services, hardware installations, emergency dispatch calls, and website interactions provided by Citadel Locksmith & Car Keys Somerville ("we," "us," or "our"), having its dispatch office at 55 Davis Square Rd Ste 320, Somerville, MA 02144. By calling (857) 639-8515, booking online, or accepting services, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Authorization & Ownership Verification

To protect homeowners, tenants, business operators, and vehicle owners across Massachusetts against unlawful entry, our technicians enforce strict verification protocols:

• Residential & Commercial Services: Customers must present valid government photo identification and prove lawful occupancy or tenancy (lease agreement, deed, utility bill, or corporate credentials).
• Automotive Services: Customers requesting vehicle unlocks or transponder key replacement must provide valid vehicle registration and matching government photo ID.

Our technicians reserve the right to decline service and notify law enforcement if authorization cannot be verified.

3. Estimates, Pricing & Payment Terms

We provide clear price estimates prior to technician dispatch and before commencing on-site labor. Exact total costs depend on lock grade, door thickness, drilling requirements (if lock is non-functional), and key transponder chip protocols.

• Payment is due immediately upon satisfactory completion of services.
• Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, debit cards, and cash.
• Receipts and itemized invoices are delivered digitally via email or SMS text message.

4. Warranty & Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. Citadel Locksmith & Car Keys Somerville provides a 90-day warranty on labor and installed mechanical hardware. If an installed deadbolt, mortise latch, or cut key malfunctions due to installation defect within 90 days, we will inspect and rectify the issue free of charge. This warranty excludes normal wear, intentional damage, or third-party tampering.

5. Limitation of Liability

While our locksmiths use professional non-destructive bypass techniques whenever possible, severely damaged, seized, or rusted locks may necessitate drilling or destructive entry to regain access. Our technician will inform you and obtain approval before performing destructive bypass techniques. Citadel Locksmith & Car Keys Somerville is not liable for pre-existing structural wear or lock defects.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
